I am an American translator for German to English. I lived in Germany for over 8 years, and earned my degree in German translation from the Universität Mainz, Germersheim. I have been working in translation and writing since 1992.
I believe in delivering high quality and in providing excellent service. Specifically, that means:
- I have a 3-step quality control and editing process for every translation
- I believe that proper formatting is critical in the translation business
- I am always available for your questions or comments
- With me, you know who your translator is, and that I am a native speaker (I will never sub-contract your translation or hand it off. I do all the work)
- I regularly work weekends, and I can work holidays from time to time
- My job is to make your work easier and to expedite your translation, in the most hassle-free and efficient manner possible

- Degree in translation from a German university
- 8 years of experience living in Germany
- 11 years of experience working for a major German corporation, in Germany and the U.S.
- Experience teaching German and English at the university level, in Germany and the United States

- Law (I have a Paralegal Certificate, and I worked for a large law firm for 3 years)
- Information Technology and software (I worked for SAP for 11 years)
- Commerce
- Finance and Economics (my specialty area at university was Economics)
